FOR THE 'LORD OF THE RINGS' PEOPLE. ie ME.

When I was quite young I was given the 'Lord of the Rings' to read and what an effect it had on me. This book mesmerised me and laid the foundation for what I would read as an adult. When the book was made into films I was dubious that they could capture the essense of the book but I must admit that the film makers done an outstanding piece of work. I thought that the music throughout was excellent so please enjoy the videos that I managed to find.

    I agree. LOTR was so awesome, the movies are easily 3 of my all time favorites. They're just so very well made.

    I thought the same thing! I never read the books, but I LOVED the movies and the music. Usually the books are better so I could imagine that the books were fantastic!

    Yeah, I never could make it through any of the books (after the Hobbit)... Tolkien was just... Yeah. Good stuff, but wordy.

    Yes, incredible triology. No shit, I shed a tiny, tiny tear after the last movie, knowing there wouldn't be another. Not manly, but god it was awesome.

    Ever get the feeling you'd like to live in that world? I do!
